Historical landmark and Buddhist temple. For centuries, locals come to pray almost every day while Westerners learn about Buddhism during their holiday. Wat Chalong is dedicated to two highly venerable monks, Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, who led the citizens of Chalong Subdistrict fighting against the Chinese rebellion and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured.
